Nelson

Co-Founder

An entrepreneur at heart, and an old-school *nix fan — Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD. He enjoys building companies as much as he enjoys building the secure networks they run on, and treats the two as the same problem.

That combination of business instinct and hands-on systems experience drives AInvest's strategic direction and keeps its infrastructure genuinely secure, not security-shaped.

Nicolas

Co-Founder

Holds a PhD in Biochemistry. He needs to understand a system down to its fundamentals before he trusts it — the same instinct that has him recompiling Gentoo and ROCm on his own hardware in his free time, just to know exactly what's running underneath.

That first-principles rigor is what keeps AInvest's AI work honest: nothing gets recommended to a client that hasn't been understood, not just used.

We've been friends for over 20 years, sharing a passion for figuring out how things actually work. That's also exactly what makes us useful together: we often look at the same problem from completely different angles — Nelson from the business and infrastructure side, Nicolas from first principles — and between the two views, a project gets a complete 3D scan instead of a single flat read. We'd rather disagree constructively and catch the blind spot than agree quickly and miss it.
