Markana: Explorer & Fusion

Our AI market-intelligence engine. Explorer (public data) is being rebuilt to filter out the AI-generated noise now polluting the open web. Fusion (private data) is waiting on our own secure infrastructure before it can touch a client's confidential data.

Private, open-source infrastructure

Firewall, storage, inference, monitoring, and backup, built on open-source foundations and independent of any single non-EU cloud provider — in line with the direction of the EU's push for technological independence. This is what unlocks Markana Fusion, and what we now offer as a service to clients who want AI on their own sensitive data. It also includes Brian, an internal task manager for human/AI collaboration, currently in a private alpha with a couple of partners.

Local AI inference

We run AI models locally on our own workstation-class hardware (AMD Ryzen AI Max) instead of the cloud. It's slower than a hyperscaler API — but nothing ever leaves the building, which is the whole point when the data is sensitive.
